This slim-fitting, technical down sleeping bag blends comfort and packability to bring you a sound night's sleep, whether you're high on the summit or deep in the backcountry, on foot or two wheels.
The Rab Alpine Down Sleeping Bag has been created using a clever construction designed to maximise the performance of the 650FP European duck down and offer more heat for fewer grams. The L.O.F.T baffle technology reduces down migration and helps retain warmth. In return, this minimises the amount of insulation required, lowering the overall weight and pack size. The outer shell of the sleeping bag is made with protective, windproof Pertex Quantum fabric. This low-bulk bag is ideal for alpine missions in cooler conditions. Using sidewall baffles, the bag reduces cold spots, while a cinchable hood seals in the heat, and the synthetic-insulated collar sits snugly around your neck to trap in warmth. The sleeping bag features a tapered mummy shape, which maximises comfort while minimising pack size, and has an anatomically shaped footbox with enough space to sleep in a relaxed position. A two-way zip provides ventilation when you need it, allowing cool air to flow so you stay comfortable throughout the night, while the insulated zip baffle prevents cold spots when the temperature drops. To keep valuables safe when sleeping, Rab has included a zipped internal stash pocket. The sleeping bag is completed with a lightweight drybag compression stuff sack and a zipped storage sack with a water-resistant base for home storage.
