The premium Japanese PERTEX fabric wraps you with a lightweight layer of waterproof protection, while the optimised fit means you can wear it over a Salomon hydration pack (12L).
The Salomon Bonatti Trail Waterproof Jacket has been constructed with a slim fit using a PERTEX Shield fabric to remain lightweight whilst providing waterproof protection to keep the rain at bay. The skin-fit hood provides extra protection from the elements and sits close to the head, ideal for high-output activities when you don't wear a helmet. The jacket will provide weather protection from the outside, whilst reducing condensation build-up on the inside. It allows air to pass through the membrane, allowing moisture vapour to escape and keep you cool and comfortable at all times. A waterproof membrane provides all-weather protection, and combined with a water-repellent coating, the Bonatti Jacket sheds wind, rain and snow with ease. The Aero pack system adds extra volume to the back of the jacket, designed to comfortably fit over a running pack for enhanced mobility. Additionally, a full-length waterproof zip provides you with the ability to take the garment on and off with ease; however, it will also prevent water from entering the jacket, keeping you dry and comfortable. With stretch fabric and articulated sleeves, the jacket allows for a natural range of movement, making it feel as though you are not wearing a jacket at all. A drawcord on the waist of the jacket helps to adjust the fit to a more personalised one for added comfort, and a dropped back hem has been added to provide additional protection from the elements. A chest pocket is provided to safely store any essential items, and a stow pocket is also included to store smaller items discreetly. Lastly, reflective elements help to improve visibility on late-night adventures.
