Engineered with Smartwool's new Indestructawool technology, the PhD Outdoor Ultra Light Women's Mini Socks feature a patent-pending construction method providing merino-based durability. The improved abrasion resistant construction of the socks increase durability and comfort for long-lasting performance. A 4-degree elite fit system used two elastics in the construction for greater stretch and recovery to ensure the sock is kept in place, whilst the narrow profile provides the perfect women's specific fit for optimum comfort. The virtually seamless toe construction eradicates uncomfortable rubbing and chafing from seams for enhanced comfort, whilst the shred shield technology increases durability preventing wear and tear from the toes. Mesh ventilation zones provide exceptional moisture management properties wicking sweat and moisture away from the skin for damp-free comfort, whilst cool air is encouraged to circulate to remove uncomfortable heat build-up providing maximum breathability to keep you cool. The 3.5" height of the sock provides extra protection and comfort when wearing hiking or walking boots.
