Engineered Mesh Upper

The upper of the Topo Atmos has been created with a recycled engineered mesh to provide you with a lightweight and highly durable shoe. The upper has been created to be as light as possible for a second-skin feel, keeping you distraction-free when on the move. Made with 30% recycled polyester, equivalent to 3 plastic bottles, the shoes feel good and do good for the planet. Perforations within the fabric allow cool air to flow while built-up heat can escape, providing a cool and dry climate for feet, leaving you comfortable and distraction-free. The shoe's anatomical toe box allows toes to spread, providing a more comfortable and natural feel while increasing stability as you move. The upper becomes narrower in the midfoot and heel to provide a locked-in feel, which is teamed with a traditional lacing system for a personalised and secure fit. Completing the upper is a padded tongue that reduces pressure points on the top of the foot while increasing overall comfort.

Zip Foam Midsole

The Atmos has a full-length Zip foam midsole to provide a super responsive and cushioned ride. Zip foam is Topo's proprietary midsole compound, which is springier than EVA, offering more rebound than standard foam. The foam is lightweight, soft underfoot and highly responsive. This keeps you light on your feet and energised, propelling you into your next step, so you can pick up the pace and run for longer. The cloud-like foam offers shock-absorbing properties that help to prevent discomfort or possible injuries by absorbing the impact when striking down on tough terrain. The midsole geometry provides neutral stability, reducing overpronation during your runs. Topo has included an Ortholite insole for enhanced underfoot comfort. This insole offers long-term resilience and anti-microbial properties.

Rubber Outsole

Produced using a highly durable rubber outsole, the Atmos ensures traction on varied surfaces and conditions. The rubber provides a strong grip, protecting itself from possible damage and preventing users from slipping. Placed in high-wear areas such as the forefoot and heel to increase durability and resist heel strike trauma, for a reliable and long-lasting running partner. The rubber has been removed in the midfoot to reduce weight, keeping things light when you move.
