Dual Mesh Upper

Designed for versatility on the trails, the Terraventure 5 is a great all-rounder, perfect for those looking for a run-to-hike companion. The shoes have a newly updated upper, using a combination of two meshes, to supply feet with the perfect level of comfort, protection and breathability, whilst remaining super durable to ensure confidence. An open mesh construction is super breathable, to prevent you from overheating, and allows a constant level of cool, fresh air to keep you comfortable when you're under pressure. Working alongside this, the hybrid shoes feature a ripstop mesh closer to the topline of the midsole. This supplies feet with increased abrasive resistance and enhanced durability, for comfortable strides on difficult terrain. Unique to Topo, the uppers still have a roomy toe box, allowing toes to splay naturally, making them ideal for trails. By providing you with the balance, stability and comfort needed across trickier trail environments, your feet can keep you grounded and secure. The secure midfoot and heel keep you nimble and ensure the shoes feel like part of your body. The Terraventures have a universal Gaiter Attachment System, with a hook-and-loop closure for coverage and protection when you need it most. This will also work with many on-the-market gaiters. Finally, the shoes feature a traditional lacing system to lock down the midfoot securely, and prevent excessive in-shoe movement when running.

ZipFoam Midsole

Utilising Topo's ZipFoam formula, the Terraventure 5 has a soft, responsive level of cushioning. ZipFoam is Topo's proprietary midsole compound, which is springier than EVA, offering more rebound than standard foam. The foam is lightweight, soft underfoot and highly responsive. This keeps you light on your feet and energised, propelling you into your next step, so you can pick up the pace and run for longer. The cloud-like foam offers shock-absorbing properties that help to prevent discomfort or possible injuries by absorbing the impact when striking down on tough terrain. This resilient midsole responds to every step and works with the FKT insole for even more responsive rebound underfoot. FKT is a TPU compound that allows fast drainage to stop water from collecting within the shoes, and dries rapidly for dry feet. With a low heel-to-toe drop, the hybrid trail shoes encourage a midfoot strike, so you move more naturally through the gait cycle. Finally, a forefoot rockplate provides you with protection against rocks and roots on trail adventures.

Vibram MegaGrip Outsole

The Terraventure 5 utilises Vibram's lightweight Megagrip outsole for optimal grip and traction on a variety of trail running and hiking surfaces.
