adidas Terrex AX4 Women's Walking Shoes

The outdoors is made for exploring, and these adidas Terrex walking shoes are built to explore high and low, near and far. Their multi-sport design is light enough for day hikes and technical enough for alpine scrambles and via ferratas. They support your feet with a lightweight yet rugged and stable feel, so you can focus on your route.

Lightweight Mesh Upper

Designed to provide a lightweight, supportive and breathable fit the upper of the adidas Terrex AX4 Walking Shoes have been constructed using a mesh upper. The lightweight mesh allows cool air to circulate throughout the upper to ensure you remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. Perforations within the fabric increase airflow, promoting a better healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. The upper also features a gusseted tongue and padded cuff which prevents rocks and debris from entering the shoe. Completing the upper is a lacing system that locks down the midfoot so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.

Lightweight EVA Midsole

Keeping you feeling lightweight to carry on all day, the EVA midsole will balance comfort and stability. By being extremely lightweight, the amount of fatigue from constant exercise is reduced, allowing you to push yourself more than ever before whilst exploring the mountains. The EVA reduces the stress placed on joints like the knees, ankles and bones within the feet. This will not only offer protection to prevent injury but will also protect the muscles, allowing you to power on further and faster. Towards the bottom, the EVA will act as a shield, absorbing all heavy impacts and shocks from rocky terrain. The shocks that are absorbed are then returned as rebound, giving you an added spring in your step and a running feel.

Continental Rubber Outsole

Developed using a Continental Rubber outsole, the adidas Terrex AX4 Walking Shoes ensure extraordinary traction in wet and dry conditions. Inspired by tyre technology, Continental Rubber supplies traction on wet and dry surfaces, meaning you can move fast through varied terrain. Providing multi-directional grip, the outsole ensures traction on varied terrain for confident footing wherever you go. The durable rubber provides a strong grip on the most challenging terrain; it works to protect itself from damage, and protect users from losing control and slipping. The outsole is designed to be just as durable as the midsole, leaving you with a resilient, cushioned and grippy running shoe while the multidirectional lugs enhances grip and traction.
