ASICS GT-XPRESS Women's Running Shoes

Breathable Mesh Upper

Constructed using a Breathable Mesh Upper, the ASICS GT-XPRESS Women's Running Shoes feature a breathable mesh upper which encase each foot in breathable comfort. The mesh allows air to fully permeate the entire upper, providing a constant supply of fresh, cool air while simultaneously forcing out hot, muggy air. This aids moisture management by wicking sweat and excess moisture as it's produced then transfers it to the outer layers where it can be easily evaporated, keeping your feet cool, dry and comfortable at all times. The mesh upper creates a perfect microclimate for your feet to thrive in. Working to provide increased support are the overlays which ensure a secure and supportive fit whilst also adding to the overall durability of the shoe. Completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.

EVA Midsole

EVA resides in the midsole to supply resilient underfoot cushioning. Light in weight and low in profile, it spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. It also absorbs shocks and returns them in rebound so you'll always have a spring in your step. As well as this, ASICS' signature GEL Cushioning System has been placed in the rearfoot of the ASICS GT-XPRESS Running Shoes to supply bounce back and shock absorption; sparing your joints as you land on unforgiving surfaces, allowing for smooth transitions and movement in multiple planes. Completing the midsole is an EVA sock liner which provides added underfoot cushioning as well as enhanced breathability. The sock liner allows cool air to flow throughout the midsole to ensure your feet remain fresher for longer.

AHAR Outsole

Supreme grip and traction are guaranteed with the AHAR outsole. ASICS' high abrasion rubber is a tough rubber compound used at the heavy-contact or high wear areas which helps to cut down on excessive wear. The high abrasion outsole provides a strong grip and works to protect itself from damage, and protect users from losing control and slipping. Creating a strong bond with the ground beneath it, the outsole allows you to stay in full control at all times. Flex grooves also adorn the outsole to provide added traction underfoot, the grooves allow for natural foot flexion for easy, unhindered paces. An impact guidance system exists underfoot to enhance the foot's natural gait from heel strike to toe-off. The guidance line exists to enhance gait efficiency while increasing the shoe's torsional rigidity to prevent it from twisting.
