ASICS Novablast Running Shoes

Engineered Mesh Upper

Utilising a breathable engineered mesh upper construction, the Novablasts have the ability to keep your feet comfortable and cool on your next run. With a socklike fit, the mesh construction will wrap across your feet in order to ensure protection, however, whilst still providing a constant level of airflow. By removing warm, used air, and replacing it with cool, fresh air, the shoes will stop you from becoming uncomfortable, whilst a no-sew design throughout the upper means abrasion or irritation will be prevented when wearing the shoes. To supply you with a secure, locked-in fit, the shoes have a traditional lace-up system, allowing you to get a preferred fit, and preventing in-shoe slippage from occurring. The shoes have been complemented with iridescent accents on the heel for a reflective finish, therefore they work to enhance visibility during low-light training conditions.

FlyteFoam BLAST Midsole

Helping to generate advanced comfort, the lightweight Novablast utilises an FF Blast midsole compound. The foam is soft and bouncy, providing a great feel from footstrike to toe-off. The soft and energetic nature of the midsole increases the underfoot softness, almost enveloping the foot in a plush, supportive wrap. The midsole of the Novablast is made up of multiple compounds to bring you a cushioned and explosive ride from stepping out to stepping in. Flytefoam Blast is the main cushioning compound used for the Novablast because of its lightweight foam formulation and high energy return. Its lightweight foam construction reduces drag allowing you to run faster for longer whilst the elastomer creates high energy return for increased bounce and unrivalled toe-offs. Resilient and innovative, FlyteFoam Blast technology lets you run with the feeling that your feet aren't even touching the ground. FlyteFoam is the lightest cushioning material ASICS has ever made, and it buffers against the ground to protect you from unnecessary stress and fatigue. Its reinforced, organic fibres let the material bounce back to its original shape after every run, so you can train harder, more frequently, and for longer without the worry your shoes might not be able to take it.

AHARPLUS Outsole

A trampoline-inspired AHAR Rubber Outsole provides three times the abrasion resistance of the traditional outsole rubber, for improved durability without sacrificing properties like traction. Supreme grip and traction are guaranteed with the AHARPLUS outsole. ASICS' high abrasion rubber is a tough rubber compound used in heavy-contact or high-wear areas helping to cut down on excessive wear. The high abrasion outsole provides a strong grip and works to protect itself from damage, and protect users from losing control and slipping. Creating a strong bond with the ground beneath it, the outsole allows you to stay in full control at all times.
