Asics Gel-Lyte III OG Running Shoes

Breathable Upper

With a design on the upper which is reminiscent of 90's running footwear, the stylish Asics Gel-Lyte III has modernised features along with the great look. The material used on the upper has supreme breathability, ensuring that the feet will always feel cool and ventilated with the steady passage of air in and out. The suede overlays act as a shock absorber should any bumps or knocks be received whilst out running. Similarly, the heel has thicker walls which will help keep it in place and in an upright position. A split tongue means that you will always be able to find a comfortable fit while the traditional lacing system helps to lock the midfoot to prevent excessive movement.

EVA Midsole

Providing the foot with both comfort and protection, the midsole will protect your feet when pounding unforgiving pavements, while you will also find every step is cushioned and gentle. The full EVA midsole responds to bumps and heavy contacts by instantly absorbing the forces that occur during the heel strike phase meaning small stones, rocks and pressure will get blocked from having a negative impact on the sole of the foot. once the EVA has absorbed the energy and impact forces, it then transfers it to the forefoot of the shoe where it can use that same energy to push you off into your next step, allowing you to run more efficiently and get a better response from your shoes. GEL-Technology resides in the rearfoot improves impact absorption and creates a softer feeling at footstrike.

Durable Rubber Outsole

The Gel-Lyte III features a solid rubber outsole for enhanced durability of the shoes. The rubber outsole can form a solid bond with the ground beneath it to ensure traction and grip on road surfaces. As well as this, the rubber outsole is highly durable to ensure long-lasting wear. The durable nature of the rubber will not wear down easily so these shoes will withstand long training sessions over and over again. Completing the outsole are flex grooves that assist with grip and form a solid base to push from. The grooves allow the whole of the outsole to naturally flex where the foot flexes to increase comfort as well as performance.
