The GEL-RESOLUTION 9 GS (Grade School) shoe creates advanced stability for youth tennis players. ASICS have used a kid's-specific last that offers a more precise fit while comfortably accommodating growing feet. Forefoot GEL technology helps provide more impact absorption and good comfort on the court. Lastly, the outsole's wider flex grooves make the shoe feel more natural when making quick transitions or shifting directions.
Constructed using a DYNAFIT upper, the Gel-Resolution 9 GS offers improved flexibility for sharp movement on the court. This means that the tennis shoe flexes and moves better with your foot, allowing you to move freely and quickly across the court. The flexible upper reduces the risk of irritation and discomfort caused by rubbing and chafing so that you can focus on the game at hand. The upper also features DYNAWRAP technology in the eyestay which has been strategically redesigned to apply pressure when extra support is needed. This new design allows for a locked-in feel during quick transitions. Finishing the upper of the shoes is a traditional lacing system to provide your little ones with a secure and personalised fit that reduces in-shoe slippage, so they can focus on training or matches.
The midsole offers ASICS' unique GEL Cushioning System which is placed in the forefoot to supply bounce back and shock absorption; sparing your junior's joints as they volley, lob, leap and land on unforgiving surfaces, allowing for smooth transitions and movement in multiple planes. Furthermore, the midsole offers the TRUSSTIC system that works incredibly hard to provide structural integrity and prevent torsion from occurring. The TRUSSTIC system is a big part of these tennis shoes as when your child goes through tricky motions, the system works to keep the feet stabilised and supported, allowing your child to perform much better without the risk of injury. Situated around these systems is an EVA midsole compound that is not only super-cushioned and responsive but keeps its shape over time and usage, allowing the compound to be just as effective in the games planned ahead rather than just the immediate future games. Finishing the midsole is an Ortholite sockliner that lies atop the cushy midsole to supply an extra layer of plush and hygienic step-in comfort for your child.
A superbly hardwearing non-marking rubber has been used to construct the outsole to help keep the shoe in great condition and to keep you confident on your feet without having to worry about the shoe wearing away. The rubber on the outsole is also Non-Marking, making it the ideal material for an indoor court shoe.
