Breathable Mesh Upper
The breathable mesh surrounding the upper of the ASICS Gel-Excite 10 Running Shoes will keep your little one's feet comfortable, allowing cool air to permeate and preventing an intolerable build-up of heat. Sweat can escape the shoe, whilst moisture on the surface of the material is wicked away instantly, keeping the shoes lightweight. This breathable upper creates a softer feel against the foot while improving breathability. A traditional lacing system will allow them to find a firm, comfortable fit all the way up, guaranteeing a personalised, non-restrictive fit. A padded tongue and ankle collar will reduce the risk of irritation from rubbing, whilst also enhancing comfort.
EVA Midsole
The midsole technology consists of EVA cushioning, which is engineered to maintain durability at softer densities, providing better flexibility, comfort and platform adaptability ideal for natural running. Lightweight and resilient, the cushioning spares your child's joints as they strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. In addition, a rearfoot gel cushioning system in the heel provides exceptional shock absorption from impact forces during the heel strike phase of the gait cycle. The gel spares their joints from unforgiving surfaces as they grind out the miles. Additionally, there is a removable Ortholite sockliner which provides personalised cushioning, making mile after mile feel exceptionally comfortable.
Solid Rubber Outsole
A solid rubber outsole provides lightweight traction and improves durability, while the strategically placed flex grooves are more flexible when you're running or wearing casually throughout the day. The durable rubber on the outsole is abrasion-resistant, preventing damage over long periods when exposed to hard ground. The rubber compound offers higher densities in high-impact areas of the outsole where most wear occurs, helping reduce wear and tear, allowing you to run harder and for longer.
