Velour Leather Upper
The Perwanger Leather upper has been further reinforced with GORE-TEX making it extremely water resistant keeping your feet dry in all conditions. GORE-TEX takes these walking boots to the next level ensuring that they are waterproof so you don't need to worry about water getting in. The special fibre used on the leather ensures that sharper rocks do not leave deep signs on your new shoes making them scratch resistant. Breathability is a key feature when on long hikes, mesh has been integrated into the upper to ensure that your feet remain cool and dry whilst mountaineering. Maintaining high levels of ventilation, these walking boots allow sweat to escape and reduce the build up therefore reducing the chances of irritation and bacteria building up. The anatomically adapted tongue construction prevents creases and folds from occurring that otherwise lead to compression and abrasion points on extended tours or hikes. LibaSmart technology offers rubber protection on the toe ends, keeping the forefoot well protected on steep sections of a rocky ascent.
TPU Midsole
For longer alpine climbs, a combination of PU midsoles at the rear and TPU torsion plates are required. The PU midsole are shock absorbent, ensuring that pressure is taken off the feet and ankles and the midsole takes the brunt of the tougher terrain. This has been strategically placed at the rear of the foot as most of the pressure will be on there and the intention of these boots is to take it away from you reducing the chances of injuries. The TPU torsion plates have been placed at the front of the foot, this ensures that the foot remains comfortable and stable at all times so that no terrain will be too much for you to deal with.
Vibram Outsole
The Vibram outsole has been designed with a Multifilm sole so it doesn't wear away as quickly as other soles. Vibram's technology ensures that the these walking boots are anti-slip so you'll be extremely sure-footed whilst hiking.
