Engineered Mesh Upper

Providing enhanced breathability and comfort, the upper of the Clifton 11 promotes in-shoe freshness for the entirety of your run. Perforations within the upper allow for air to circulate effectively around the foot, allowing for heat to escape out and make room for cooling freshness. The material supportively hugs the foot from beginning until end for better support while keeping things super lightweight and breathable. Tactically added 3D silicone print touch points can be found on the upper, boosting the structural durability of the shoe, while reflective elements can be found that improve your visibility in low-light conditions, allowing you to train safely on early morning or late-night runs. For a secure fit, the shoes use a double-lace lock system to mitigate tongue migration, while the padded tongue sits comfortably against the skin for all-day wear and comfort.

Compression-Molded EVA Foam Midsole

For comfortable stability and responsive cushioning, a platform of compression-molded EVA resides underfoot within the Clifton 11. When striking down on unforgiving surfaces, shock is absorbed into the foam, dissipating direct impact and protecting your joints and feet from injury. The absorbed shock is then released within your following stride as propulsive energy, giving you a needed motivational boost in every step. Smooth Metarocker geometry has been utilised within the midsole, allowing for ultra-smooth transitions. The Meta-Rocker geometry has a low heel-toe differential and a sculpted outsole to create a unique fulcrum effect, like a rocking chair, encouraging a guided gait cycle. Supporting a runner's natural form while promoting an efficient, smooth roll from initial impact to toe-off allows you to run for longer, as this slows fatigue. Hoka has introduced its Rearfoot-Focused Active Foot Frame technology, designed to cradle and support the foot in the rearfoot area. The foam walls of the midsole are raised to wrap and cradle your heel, acting like a bucket seat in a race car to provide built-in stability. Finally, an Open cell sockliner has been added for a premium cushioning effect right below the foot for long-lasting satisfaction.
