The Leki Legacy Lite Compact is a three-section aluminium trekking pole designed for those who want a light, shorter length pole for everyday walking and mountain use. It is well-suited to shorter users, younger adults and anyone who finds a standard pole too long.
One of Leki's lighter 3-section telescopic trekking poles, the Legacy Lite Compact is made from Aluminium (HTS 6.0), providing you with solid, dependable durability without the premium weight of higher-grade alloys. This durable pole has a pack size of 64cm, making it perfect for most luggage and boot rooms, and features Speed Lock Plus construction for easy, fast, and convenient adjustments, whether you're wearing gloves or not. The structure allows you to make changes from 90cm to 125cm by using the lever tension via the integrated tensioning screw. This is shorter than a traditional trekking pole, tailoring better towards shorter users and smaller adults. Using an EVOCON grip in 2K CorTec, the poles have an anatomically contoured grip with a rounded support surface that follows the natural shape and curve of your hand, reducing pressure points and grip fatigue across extended use. 2K CorTec blends natural cork with rubber for a grip that is warm in cold conditions, moisture-managing in warm conditions, and durable across repeated seasons. The back of the grip is fully rubberised for a secure hold and additional control on descents. Working alongside this, the Lock Security Strap Soft 2.0 is continuously adjustable, with soft-touch webbing for comfort in extended use. For durable, reliable performance across a variety of terrain, the poles use a Flex Tip Short Carbide tip and come with both a racing basket and a trekking basket for stability and support on changing terrain.
