The Mammut Crater IV is a premium, full-featured technical jacket that does it all and is designed for extra durability on technical alpine expeditions. The jacket has been designed using a three-layer GORE-TEX fabric with a PFC-free ePE membrane. This is highly protective, shielding from poor weather, while being highly breathable to provide optimum comfort across a range of conditions. Mammut High Reach technology also resides in the jacket and allows for a full range of mobility when climbing without restrictions getting in the way. The solution dyed backer delivers more sustainable production through significantly reduced water consumption. A water-resistant Aquaguard two-way front zip assists in putting the jacket on and off while preventing water from entering, ensuring you remain dry at all times. Two-way water-resistant underarm zips increase ventilation by allowing you to dump excess heat, while a stormproof, vertically and horizontally adjustable helmet-compatible hood with a reinforced shield provides additional protection and allows for an optimum field of vision at all times. Stopping windchill and providing an adjustable fit, the jacket includes adjustable hook-and-loop cuffs, while the pre-shaped sleeves further enhance the range of motion. Two climbing harness-compatible front pockets with water-repellent zips and a zippered inner pocket provide optimal space to store your essentials and make them accessible while wearing a harness. Completing the jacket is an adjustable hem width, which enables you to alter the fit to a more personal one.
