Created with Polartec Alpha Direct, this hooded jacket from Mammut is lightweight, with a highly air-permeable design, keeping you at the perfect temperature throughout wear, and the fast-drying insulation provides an unmatched warmth-to-weight ratio and breathability. Polartec Alpha Direct uses a mesh lattice structure with high-loft polyester fibres attached directly to it, so it doesn't need an inner or outer face fabric and remains comfortable against the skin. This also helps trap heat when you're still, but when moving, the lattice structure opens, allowing heat to escape and cool air to circulate. The jacket includes a tight-fitting, helmet-compatible hood to keep your head warm when climbing. A Long half-length zipper makes it easier to put on and allows rapid ventilation in warm temperatures. Completing the jacket and providing an irritation-free fit, Mammut has included offset, smooth merrow-stitch seams to prevent chafing and discomfort.
