Merrell MQM 3 GORE-TEX Women's Walking Shoes

MQM stands for Moving Quickly in the Mountains, and this third iteration of the best-selling multitool of footwear, the MQM 3 GORE-TEX provides stability on hikes and agility when running, whilst also being durable enough for scrambling. Version 3 features an updated grippy Vibram sole and a lace-to-toe lace-up system for an improved locked-in fit.

GORE-TEX Upper

To ensure a dry and comfortable wearing experience, the MQM 3 GORE-TEX Shoes utilise a GORE-TEX waterproof membrane. This upper provides you with outstanding waterproofing to prevent poor, changing weather making your feet soggy, whilst also ensuring a comfortable experience. Additionally, a breathable mesh upper and a mesh lining provide a combination of durability and extra levels of breathability to reduce overheating when hiking or running. The uppers have moisture-wicking properties to help prevent a build-up of sweat and moisture when under immense pressure on the trails, by removing any excess moisture. TPU overlays enhance the durability in high-wearing areas, increasing the longevity of the shoes. A bellowed tongue sits comfortably against your foot, to prevent irritation during movement, whilst also preventing dirt or debris from entering. Working alongside this, the shoes utilise 100% recycled laces in a lace-to-toe lace system and webbing to get a perfect fit and feel, helping to keep the foot locked down during intense movement, and preventing in-shoe slippage.

Super Rebound Cushioning Midsole

For long-lasting comfort and increased levels of cushioning, the MQM 3 GORE-TEX Walking Shoes have a Super Rebound Compound cushioning. The midsole construction is highly durable, with excellent shock-absorbing properties to help reduce torque for added stability on the trails. Not only this, but the soft, cushioned midsole provides you with a smooth transition into the midfoot, therefore helping to reduce injuries and ensuring a comfortable ride. Extra cushioning in the heel is also provided to enhance stability on the rocks. A 50% recycled removable EVA foam footbed with a mesh cover gives you added cushioning when or if you need it, cushioning those hard surfaces for an enjoyable ride, as well as, making sure to keep feet fresh and cool throughout your trek. The shoes have a Cleansport NXT treatment, which provides natural odour control for a fresher smelling and feeling experience.

Vibram TC5+ Outsole

Utilizing a Vibram TC5+ Outsole, the MQM 3 GORE-TEX provide reliable traction and grip on various terrains. This is a durable compound which ensures exceptional traction, allowing you to explore multi-sport activities and formulated particularly for Merrell. Additionally, the shoes have deep multi-directional lugs which feature on the outsole to further ensure traction and grip on varied terrain ensuring confident footing. Finally, a rock plate protects the feet from rocks and harsh terrain, so you can focus on your adventures.
