MIZUNO ENERZY NXT Midsole
The midsole of the Neo Vista 3 is constructed from MIZUNO ENERZY NXT. It is the next generation of MIZUNO ENERZY midsole material and is designed to maximise energy return and cushioning for optimum performance. A Nitrogen-infused ENERZY NXT (TPU Version) sits above ENERZY NXT (EVA Version) to deliver a soft and smooth ride. It attenuates shock as you strike down, protecting your joints. This energy on impact is converted into rebound, providing you with an added spring in your step, meaning you can run further, faster, using less energy. A full-length 3D fibreglass Mizuno Wave Plate provides powerful energy return, stability, and smooth directional bounce, keeping the tarmac flowing underfoot. Mizuno's signature Smooth Speed Assist geometry has also been utilised. It is designed for maximum performance. The significant heel bevel encourages an efficient midfoot landing, the midfoot contact point supports the calf and the aggressive forefoot rocker delivers a smooth and propulsive transition.
X10 Outsole
Supplying optimum grip and traction underfoot, and keeping you supported across an array of road running surfaces, the Neo Vista 3 features an X10 outsole. This is a durable, grippy carbon rubber compound that allows you to traverse long, road-running ventures and is super durable for long-lasting reliability. The rubber is more present on the lateral heel, adding durability in high-impact areas and providing more traction during heel strikes. The forefoot flex grooves and flex controllers then work together to continue the smooth forward motion, resulting in an efficient fluid motion that allows runners to harness their power.
