Pertex Shield offers super lightweight waterproof and windproof protection from varying elements while also providing enhanced airflow around the body for a balanced climate. The pants have a grey backer that features a protective print to improve the durability and allow for easy mending, while a water repellent coating has been added to the outer layer to greatly improve the waterproofing. Offset seams improve the overall construction of the pants for increased durability against possible snags and tears while also enhancing comfort during wear. Half-length side zips allow for easy layering of boots and pants and feature YKK AQUAGUARD NATULON recycled zips that effectively block water from creeping in. Finally, cord adjustments can be found around the waist to improve security and adaptability to changing conditions.
