The Kinabalu has an extensive history. Now in its third generation, Scott have given the shoe a full redesign to provide you with improved comfort, versatile traction and running efficiency out on the trails.

Breathable Mesh Upper

The Kinabalu 3 has an extremely lightweight and durable ripstop mesh upper that will keep your feet feeling ventilated and fresh. The lightweight mesh fabric allows cool air to circulate, whilst built-up heat created from movement can escape. This will mean that the feet will stay cool and comfortable, on those long runs. The sweat produced will also be able to exit the material, where it is then released away from the feet. Covering the toes are overlays created with a thicker material that will prevent injuries from occurring from bumps and knocks which you may receive on the trails. The shoes also include a thermoplastic support cage that will keep the foot in a firm and upright position, helping to prevent it from rolling or twisting out of position. The shoes feature a traditional lacing system that provides you with a locked-in feel and reduces in-shoe slippage. The no-sew toe guard reduces the risk of irritation from rubbing and chafing within the shoe.
