Ripstop and GORE-TEX Upper

The upper has been constructed using a highly durable ripstop fabric that protects the foot while offering chafe-free comfort. Featuring a GORE-TEX membrane, the shoes provide highly breathable waterproof protection. It creates an impenetrable barrier that prevents rain and snow, keeping feet dry and comfortable. Not only is this barrier waterproof, but it is also windproof, preventing wind from penetrating the upper layer and reducing wind chill. Although water/windproof, the GORE-TEX membrane remains highly breathable and durable, ensuring reliable comfort, ventilation and protection in challenging conditions. A plush heel cup and collar provide high-level comfort and heel lockdown, working in conjunction with the lacing system (with serrated racing laces) to securely anchor the shoe to your foot. Further enhancing the fit, a comfortable padded tongue with internal wings also aids in lockdown and is integrated into the internal dust liner to keep out debris. A reinforced and protective toe cap and dual midfoot webbing reinforcements keep feet shielded and supported. The pull-tab at the heel allows for ease of entry. For increased weather protection, The North Face has included Gaiter-compatible attachment points allowing you to add your gaiters while tackling the trails in poor weather.

This bio-based outsole rubber compound has been specially designed to ensure superior traction on both wet and dry surfaces. Not only this, but it also ensures multi-directional traction on a wide range of surfaces and withstands even the toughest trails, whilst being flexible enough to adapt to multiple terrains, providing you with complete control. The durable rubber protects itself from damage and protects users from losing control. It is designed to hold firm on uneven terrain so you can have complete confidence on the toughest trails. 4mm lugs bite into the earth, helping you with quick, decisive moves when hurtling up and down hill and turning at speed.
