Constructed using The North Face's signature FlashDry technology, the Ambition Thermoball Hybrid Jacket works to keep you cool, dry and comfortable at all times. Flash Dry fabric technology is designed to move moisture away from the skin for quick evaporation keeping you dry when temperatures begin to rise. This quick-drying fabrication acts like a second skin for ultimate comfort from the moment you put it on till the moment you take it off. Thermoball insulation has been used within the fabrication; it offers unbelievable insulation by trapping warm air inside the garment for maximum warmth at minimum weight. Developed by Primaloft, Thermoball is a synthetic alternative to down that mimics its clusters by trapping heat within small air pockets to retain warmth. Helping you to stay warm even when wet thermoball is an ultralight and highly compressible; it can be packed down incredibly small and stored into it own pocket for easy carrying. Ideal for outdoor activities, the jacket is hugely reliable and versatile to help you conquer the trails.
A standard fit is designed to be slim fitting but not too tight, it supplies comfortable coverage that moves with you and provides enough room for layering if you require it. The fit also ensures freedom of movement because your clothing choice should never inhibit your natural motion. A hood can be used to provide added protection by shielding your face from harsh wind and rain, it can also be adjusted to provide the perfect fit and can fold away into the collar when not in use. A front zip exists for complete temperature control; in colder climates, it can be worn up to seal in heat or when temperatures begin to rise it can be worn down to release an intolerable heat build-up. On the front of the jacket, secure-zip hand pockets can be used to store your essential items or warm your hands up when temperatures drop.
