Charged Cushioning Midsole

The midsole of the Charged Assert 8 has been constructed using Under Armour's signature Charged Cushioning. Designed to provide responsive comfort and a high level of impact absorption the midsole is ideal for long training days. The cushioning is firmer in the heel and softer in the forefoot to ensure the right level of comfort and support throughout the midsole. The full-length platform of Charged Cushioning spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the cushioning ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long-distance days. Charged Cushioning will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. The energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, giving you an added spring in your step. The midsole unit turns cushioned landings into explosive takeoffs by taking the impact forces and transferring them to the forefoot where it acts like a slingshot bouncing you off into your next step.
