Designed using premium fabrics, the Lava Long Distance Shorts ensure the perfect level of compression, performance and comfort throughout the race. The ergonomic panel design, fit and fabric placement are designed for temperature control.
Utilising ZONE 3's exceptional Sensory fabric, the Lava Long Distance Tri Shorts are extremely smooth and soft and will feel fantastic against your skin. The Sensory fabric provides you with extra support and balanced compression on your legs, improving muscle support and helping to increase the blood flow away from the legs, therefore reducing the amount of lactic acid build-up and helping to improve your endurance and stamina. The fabric is also highly breathable and moisture-wicking, removing excess sweat and moisture to the outer fabric, where it can evaporate for rapid drying. Not only that, but the shorts have a water-repellent coating to prevent water absorption and minimise drag during your swim. The shorts ensure a 360-degree stretch to allow for a full range of movement without restrictions holding you back, while the integrated leg grippers keep the shorts in place during the bike and run to prevent them from riding up. A 3.5cm elastic waistband has been added to the shorts for an extremely comfortable and supportive fit, and a Tri Comp Pad makes sure that comfort is provided when on the saddle. Heat-bonded, flat-lock stitching reduces the chance of irritation caused by rubbing, and completing the shorts is a rear zippered pocket, which offers ample space to store valuables or nutrition snacks and gels.
