Hoka Gaviota 5 Men's Running Shoes
Forget what you thought you knew about stability shoes. The Gaviota 5's new stabilising H-Frame has allowed Hoka to implement softer foams than ever before. Delivering inherent stability without compromising cushioning, it's been paired with the intuitive H-Frame base with a breathable creel jacquard upper, ultra-plush collar, and Bondi-level cushioning to deliver that signature Hoka ride.
Creel Jacquard Mesh Upper
Constructed using a breathable creel jacquard mesh fabric, the uppers of the Gaviota provide feet with a cosy, comfortable experience. Not only will they provide a sock-like, secure fit, but the shoes will also ensure an optimal level of airflow, creating a breathable, cool experience for feet to thrive. The shoes use recycled polyester laces for a traditional, yet sustainable, lace-up construction to help lock feet in, preventing in-shoe slippage. The recycled midfoot brace ghillies further reinforce the fit. The Strobel board is also made with 87% recycled polyester. Preventing irritation and abrasion, the shoes have a plush collar and single-sided tongue gusset, offering improvements in comfort to their predecessors. Completing the upper are heel pull tabs that assist with putting on the shoes.
EVA Midsole
To provide you with plush, comfortable cushioning and exceptional support and stability, the Gaviota 5s have H-Frame technology. The H-Frame technology provides a stable platform for those looking to prevent and combat over-pronation by using firmer foam on the medial side of the shoe, in combination with additional rubber for durability, for a comfortable, confident running experience. Alongside this, the shoes have an early-stage Meta-Rocker for a smooth ride, additional rearfoot support and fast movement.
Durable Rubber Outsole
Ensuring grip and traction across a variety of surfaces, the Gaviota features a durable rubber outsole. Offering a pair of shoes you can rely on, the outsoles are exceptionally durable, providing the traction you need in high-wear areas. The durable rubber outsole will keep you in firm control across a wide range of terrain over an extended period. Forming a solid bond with the ground, the outsole will anchor you into place, keeping you in a strong and controlled position.
