Nubuck Leather Upper
Designed with Gold-Rated Leather Working Group-approved Nubuck leather, the upper delivers high durability and exceptional support against treacherous trails. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, GORE-TEX Invisible Fit technology with a 70% recycled face fabric resides inside the shoe, supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside, keeping sweat to a minimum and you cool and comfy. The recycled yarn meshes allow cool air to flow to help control temperature, while an Achilles-cradling heel tab allows great ankle stability without causing discomfort to the Achilles. The recycled polyester collar and tongue work hand in hand to help enhance comfort, and the traditional lacing system completes the upper to lock the midfoot for a secure and stable fit.
Sugarcane EVA Midsole
The Anacapa 2 features a 30% sugarcane EVA midsole that offers the cushioning and support your little one needs when exploring the outdoors. This EVA foam provides maximum cushioning with little weight and surrounds the foot in complete comfort without adding bulk or weight to the shoe. The midsole delivers ultra-cushioned comfort, keeping your little one comfortable on their feet and able to keep moving mile after mile. Finally, a 50% soybean-based PU sockliner provides step-in comfort.
Durabrasion Rubber Outsole
Completing the Anacapa 2 is a Durabrasion rubber outsole that ensures traction and grip on varied terrain. The rubber compound provides an unparalleled grip on wet and dry surfaces, rugged longevity and optimal ground adaptability. The rubber can form a solid bond with the ground beneath to ensure traction and control as you explore the unbeaten path. Furthermore, multi-directional lugs adorn the outsole to provide flexible and multi-directional traction as you tackle awkward ascents and daring descents.
