A splash-ready silhouette geared to outlast any forecast, our Clifton 11 GORE-TEX is engineered to seal out the elements with a GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane, closed mesh upper, and water-repellent coating.

GORE-TEX Upper

Providing enhanced breathability and comfort, the upper of the Clifton 11 promotes in-shoe freshness for the entirety of your run. Perforations in the upper encourage cool air to circulate, while allowing heat to escape, keeping feet cool and fresh. The material hugs the foot from start to finish for better support while keeping things super lightweight and breathable. For complete weather protection, the shoes include a GORE-TEX Invisible membrane that prevents water and moisture from entering the shoe while allowing built-up heat and vapour to escape. This keeps feet dry from the inside out. Furthering weather protection, Hoka has also added a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating to prevent water from seeping through. Tactically added 3D silicone-print touch points on the upper boost the structural durability. Reflective elements improve visibility in low-light conditions, allowing you to train safely on early morning or late-night runs. For a secure fit, the shoes use a quick-lace system that allows you to tighten and loosen the laces quickly, perfect for those colder days, while the padded tongue sits comfortably against the skin for all-day wear.

Compression-Molded EVA Foam Midsole

For comfortable stability and responsive cushioning, a platform of compression-moulded EVA resides underfoot within the Clifton 11. When striking hard, unforgiving surfaces, the shocks are absorbed, protecting your joints and feet from injury. The energy absorbed is then released into your next stride, propelling you forward for an added boost with each step. Hoka's Smooth Metarocker geometry is utilised in the midsole, allowing for ultra-smooth transitions. The Meta-Rocker geometry has a low heel-toe differential and a sculpted outsole to create a unique fulcrum effect, like a rocking chair, encouraging a guided gait cycle. It supports a runner's natural form while promoting an efficient, smooth roll from initial impact to toe-off, helping you run longer while slowing fatigue. Hoka has introduced its Rearfoot-Focused Active Foot Frame technology, designed to cradle and support the foot in the rearfoot area. The foam walls of the midsole are raised to wrap and cradle your heel, acting like a bucket seat in a race car to provide built-in stability. Finally, an open-cell sockliner provides premium cushioning right below the foot for long-lasting satisfaction.

Durabrasion Outsole

It provides grip on a variety of surfaces, including dry paths and rain-slicked roads, so you can keep pushing no matter the conditions. A full-length rubber outsole with high-impact areas covered increases the shoe's overall durability for long-lasting grip on the go.
