Engineered Mesh Upper
Designed using an engineered mesh, the upper of the Vomero Premium wraps your feet in breathable comfort. The mesh features micro-perforations within the fabric to encourage cool air to circulate the shoe while allowing built-up heat and vapour to escape, for a pleasant cooling experience. The material is also highly adaptable, moulding to your foot shape, and provides a secure, comfortable fit. For increased comfort, the Vomero Premium utilises a plush collar and padded tongue, which sit close to the foot for step-in comfort, while a traditional lacing works to lock the midfoot for a secure fit and prevent in-shoe slippage./
ZoomX Foam Midsole
The midsole has been crafted using a full-length platform of Nike's ultra-responsive ZoomX foam. Ultra-light and super-responsive, the midsole material delivers Nike's greatest energy return yet, absorbing impact and then expelling it back out for a bounce-like effect. This energy-return technology reduces superfluous muscle power, diminishes fatigue and enhances performance. The revolutionary ZoomX foam is manufactured from Pebax, a compound conventionally used in plastic bridges and other moulded parts and yields lightweight, soft and springy cushioning. Until now, these three characteristics (collectively) have proven nearly impossible to achieve. Pebax has a lower density than some thermoplastic alternatives, making it lighter, flexible and more impact-resistant, while providing a higher capacity for energy return. When blown into a foam, these properties remain, gifting a lively underfoot feeling that encourages you to run fast. Working alongside the ZoomX midsole are two Air Zoom units, one in the forefoot and one in the heel, to give you a light, responsive bounce when your foot connects to the ground. The cushioned chambers within the air units add even more stability and propulsion.
Durable Waffle Outsole
The Vomero Premium features a waffle-inspired rubber outsole, providing exceptional traction in various conditions. This durable rubber offers a strong grip and is strategically placed in high-wear areas, such as the forefoot and heel, to enhance durability.
