Engineered Mesh Upper
The mesh used on the upper of the Vomero Plus provides breathable comfort for the entirety of your wear. Perforations in the material allow air to circulate easily around the foot while allowing built-up heat and vapour to escape, keeping you cool throughout. Utilising an MR-10 last, the upper fit is consistent among Nike shoes. The tongue and collar are super plush for comfort when sat against the skin, helping to protect the foot from injury. The tongue allows you to lace up as tight as needed while still protecting the top of your foot. Nike has included a heel counter, combined with the traditional lacing system and webbed lace loops for a locked-in fit. On the back of the shoe is a heel pull tab, making putting the Vomeros on easy, getting you out on the road as soon as possible. To complete the upper, reflective elements have been added to improve visibility in low-light conditions.
ZoomX Midsole
Packed with Nike's super-responsive foam technology, the Vomero Plus sports a full-length midsole of ZoomX foam. This foam delivers high energy return with every stride, absorbing impact before expelling it for a bounce-like effect. This enhances performance while providing better protection for your feet and joints. When striking unforgiving surfaces, impact is effectively absorbed and released within your following strides. The unique combination of lightweight performance and durability is due to the Pebax base in the foam, which delivers outstanding energy return, making every stride feel more powerful and less taxing over longer distances. The midsole's wider platform and raised sidewalls offset ZoomX softness for better steadiness. A rocker construction uses the power from your last step to propel you forward, so you run further, faster, with less effort.
High Abrasion Rubber Outsole
Completing the Vomero Plus is a durable rubber outsole that reduces weight without reducing longevity. The rubber forms a solid bond with the ground below for superior grip, keeping you focused on the run rather than slipping. The rubber provides traction on variable road surfaces, allowing you to propel forward and change direction easily and confidently.
