Rab Muon ND40 Backpack

For fast-moving hikers pounding out the miles, this strong, streamlined pack is built to keep weight down, with ultralight features allowing you to pack more kit and cover longer distances.

Crafted from Rab's Spectra fabric technology, the Muon ND40 is ultra lightweight yet highly durable against possible snags and bumps like traversing unpredictable paths. With UV resistance, the pack is shielded through high altitude conditions to keep you focused. The Tri-Flex Carry System is light and stable with a wrap-around harness construction for optimal comfort levels, making carrying your pack easy and cosy. A shaped lumber pad alongside a supportive hip belt ensures that the pack remains comfortable at all times, with the ability to get a more preferred fit. A lightweight harness has been used, with a quick lace closure system for minimal bulk, the harness has two zip pockets and two stash pockets built in for valuables and close by snacks. Below is a hipbelt with a forward pull adjustment for quick and easy tightening. The backpack has a simple, but effective closure system, with a roll top entry to expand and compress as you work through your supplies, and then securely clip into place with a centralised buckle, with a 3L hydration sleeve in the back panel that feeds through a H2O port for super quick and easy hydration. A front stash sits on the front of the bag, allowing you to store a map or an extra layer in close reach, while side stash pockets allow you to store smaller items or extra water bottles if required. Multiple zip pockets can be found on the inside and outside of the pack for easy access at all times, alongside webbing to tuck loose items away. On the exterior are pole carry straps, allowing you to securely store collapsible or Z-poles when not in use. Compression straps have been added to the top of the backpack, ensuring bounce-free use.
