Engineered Mesh Upper

Designed with an engineered mesh upper, the Saucony Guide 19 is lightweight and still provides the breathable support just like the 18; however, with added stretch to provide a better fit, increasing the overall comfort of the shoe. Perforations within the mesh encourage cool air to circulate throughout the shoe, removing built-up heat, keeping feet cool, dry and comfortable. The mesh acts as a lightweight second skin, creating a perfect microclimate for your feet to thrive in. FORMFIT technology surrounds the foot in a made-for-me feel, accommodating feet, giving them a feeling like these shoes were made specifically for you. The soft, padded tongue and updated heel collar sit close for increased levels of comfort, while helping secure the heel for a more stable ride. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system which locks the midfoot for a secure fit.

PWRRUN Midsole

The midsole of the Guide 19 uses an updated PWRRUN Foam; the new foam is even softer than previous versions for a more cushioned feel underfoot. Saucony has developed the new PWRRUN foam to provide a lighter and springier feel while enhancing energy return, reducing fatigue, and allowing you to clock up those miles with ease. The updated foam improves shock absorption compared to previous versions, reducing the risk of injury when striking hard, unforgiving ground. A broad base geometry and higher sidewalls have been built on a rocker shape for ease throughout the gait cycle. CenterPath technology keeps your feet centred and level, preventing overpronation for a smoother ride. Finally, a PWRRUN+ sockliner further increases the cushioning, providing step-in comfort.

XT-900 Outsole

Engineered to be grippy and durable, the outsole of the Saucony Guide 19 features XT-900 carbon rubber. Saucony has increased the amount of rubber on the outsole, ensuring greater ground contact for exceptional road traction so you can push the miles with complete confidence. The rubber can form a solid connection with a wide range of surfaces, giving you one less thing to worry about. The strong connection to the ground provides a firm base to push off from for a more efficient gait cycle. Reinforced in high-wear areas, the outsole will withstand long-lasting wear. Completing the outsole are multi-directional grooves strategically positioned to secure your feet to the ground, improving efficiency in takeoffs, landings, and changes of direction.
