GORE-TEX Upper
The GORE-TEX upper ensures the boots are durably waterproof combined with optimised breathability offering enduring weather protection. Water stays on the outside while perspiration can easily escape from the inside, thanks to their non-insulated construction they are the ideal solution for people who value outstanding climate comfort and heat release. This high-cut trekking boot is designed for hikers and backpackers attempting to stay light on their feet. The upper boasts extreme comfort thanks to the soft, double layer engineered mesh that is enriched with a TPU heel cup for superb durability and protection from unseen trail hazards. The high cuff protects against stones and mud, preventing them getting inside the boots as well as provides additional ankle support on unpredictable terrains. Furthering the waterproofing on the shoe is the elastic GORE-TEX tongue construction ensuring that water can't get in from the top either keeping all parts of your feet well protected. Georganic 3D Midsole
Mammut have coupled a simple EVA midsole with their unique Georganic 3D technology to provide you with technical cushioning and ergonomic comfort. The geometric-dynamic design has been given organic shaped cuts, these shaped cuts have been formed from research which are specific to certain movements. The key to the Georganic concept is the anatomical shape which has specific foot mapping for the arch, ankle and heel to provide you with an improved and more precise fit. A combination of a 3D moulded heel counter and 3D shaped memory foam insoles offers performance orientated and individualised fit so these shoes will mould to suit your feet. These two features both work in tandem to keep the ankle well protected and stable. The midsole has been specially designed to prevent pronation of the foot, the medial side of the entire midsole has been raised and follows the anatomical last shape therefore supporting the arch and foot preventing it to move inwards. Finally, the unique one-sided tongue construction creates the ergonomic fit previously mentioned following the foot, supporting movements as well as reducing pressure points throughout. The flat and stretchy tongue construction minimises the overlap of different materials and adapts to each foot individually.

Creating a barefoot feeting that supports your foot's natural anatomy, the aim of the Flextron technology is to relieve pressure keeping you feeling light on your feet. The core of the technology is a spring-steel sole which provides you with flexible support to ensure your foot is rolling correctly and naturally improving your posture as well as a more efficient way to use your energy. The lateral stability of the sole improves your foot position therefore providing you with precise landing even on uneven terrain. The contact surface in the shoe is increased thanks to even distribution of movement forces all over the spring-steel shoe resulting in improved grip.
